TotalPOS Solutions

TotalPOS Solutions began in business in 1989 as The Cash Register Doctor to supply, service and support cash registers and eftpos machines. As technology developed and our company grew, we added PC and touchscreen systems to our range. In 2008 we changed our trading name to TotalPOS Solutions to reflect our focus on all aspects of Point of Sale (POS) hardware and software.

In 2024 we were proud to be selected by QUORiON Data Systems to be the New Zealand distributor of their range of cash registers and touchscreen POS Systems.

We now have 15 staff who between them have over 200 years of POS industry experience including over 100 years of providing technical support for POS systems and equipment including cash registers, eftpos machines, POS peripherals such as printers, barcode scanners and customer displays and POS software including cloud-based and server-based systems.

We understand that a fully functioning and efficient POS system is a central and critical part of any business and so our support is available to our customers all over New Zealand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year including public holidays.

We also know that different businesses have different needs and priorities. Some prefer to rent their POS systems for the flexibility and taxation advantages, others prefer to own their systems, and some prefer a combination of renting and owning. Whichever you prefer, we can offer a package to suit your needs. If you chose to rent some or all of your hardware, our rentals are managed by our associate company, TotalPOS Rentals. Because we do not use an outside finance company, we have the flexibility to modify your rental contract if your needs change.
